A NEW ERA FOR DIGITAL LOTTERY & GAMING WITH THE LAUNCH OF THE OLG APP



THE BRIEF: Give players another digital avenue to play their way through the OLG App

MY ROLE: I was the Senior Copywriter for this project, directly collaborating with our Design, Development, and Product Management teams.

MY DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Spearheaded copy components across all product screens of the OLG App, ensuring the user experiences (UX) for both iPhone and Android versions were smooth

  • Made sure copy and design were consistent across wireframes, mockups, and final testing screens

  • Developed promotional and educational content for the OLG App’s launch: dedicated section on OLG.ca, search engine optimization (SEO), search ads, personalized emails, social media, FAQ page, app store pages

THE RESULTS:

  • Significant (+) increases in the following digital touchpoints within the first month of the OLG App launch:

    • Lottery subscriptions

    • Lottery plays

    • Casino game plays

    • Heatmap improvements between the Lottery and Casino webpages
